Location: Wilson Memorial School, Nakigalala, Wakiso District
BAROZEKI FOUNDATION is committed to improving access to clean and safe water through the construction of a 10,000-liter water storage tank for Wilson Memorial School. Currently, many students walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to collect water from a community stream, taking valuable time away from their education and exposing them to potentially unsafe water sources. Rainwater collection also provides an unreliable supply during the school year.
The proposed water tank will help provide a more reliable water supply throughout the year, improve sanitation and hygiene, support safe drinking water access, and create a healthier learning environment for students and teachers.
By bringing water closer to the school, this project aims to reduce the burden on children, allowing them to spend more time learning, focus on their studies, and grow in a safer and healthier environment.
Be Part of the Change
We invite individuals, organizations, businesses, and development partners to support this initiative through financial contributions, construction materials, technical expertise, and partnerships. Every contribution brings Wilson Memorial School closer to reliable access to clean water.
Together, we can build more than a water tank—we can build hope, improve learning conditions, and create a brighter future for the children and the surrounding community.
